Application Process
Request a brochure and application from the Admission Office. File your application before December 14, with the following items:
  • $50 application fee
  • Applicant Test Information Form
  • Completed Student Questionnaire
Sign and send the Transcript Release Form included with your application to the current school after December 1. Stone Ridge must receive a transcript of grades for the current school year no later than February 1.

Request that teachers complete and return the teacher evaluation forms directly to the Admission Office after December 1. Completed forms should be received by the Admission Office no later than February 1. (Applicants who currently attend a parish school in the Archdiocese of Washington will have teacher evaluations automatically sent with their transcript)

For Financial Aid forms, etc., click on Financial Aid Info. Forms are due by December 31. Regretfully, Stone Ridge cannot guarantee the availability of funds for late applications. Financial aid decisions will be sent separate from admission decisions.

All applicants for Grades 9-12 must take the ERB at Stone Ridge OR submit the results of an ERB or SSAT that has been taken within the previous six months. Applicants are encouraged to take ERB at Stone Ridge, so they may  be considered for the Merit Awards. The November 17 test date is specifically for incoming 9th Graders. Be sure to register (by submitting the Applicant Test Information Form) for an exam in a timely fashion.

Arrange a student visit. Full-day visits are required as they allow us to meet your daughter as well as give her the opportunity to experience our community.  Students  may visit from October through December without submitting an application. After December, an application must be on file before a visit can be scheduled. Visits can be arranged through the Admission Office after September 4.

Parent meetings are optional, but encouraged, so that we may learn more about your child and have the opportunity to answer any questions you may have. Please call the Admission Office to arrange an appointment.

Application files need to be complete by February 1 to be considered in the first round of decisions.

Merit Awards
Six Merit Scholarships are given every year to incoming Ninth Grade students. These scholarships are monetary prizes applied to the recipients' tuition each year, for the four years of high school. Families may apply for financial assistance in addition to these scholarships. All applicants who take the entrance exam at Stone Ridge will automatically be considered for these awards. Finalists will be notified with acceptance letters.
