Application Process
Request a brochure and application from the Admission
Office.
File your application before December 14, with the following
items:

$50 application fee

Applicant Test Information Form
-
Completed Student Questionnaire
Sign and send the Transcript Release Form included with
your application to the current school after December 1.
Stone Ridge must receive a transcript of grades for the
current school year no later than February 1.
Request that teachers complete and return the teacher
evaluation forms directly to the Admission Office after
December 1. Completed forms should be received by the
Admission Office no later than February 1. (Applicants who
currently attend a parish school in the Archdiocese of
Washington will have teacher evaluations automatically sent
with their transcript)For Financial Aid forms, etc.,
click on Financial Aid Info. Forms
are due by December 31. Regretfully,
Stone Ridge cannot guarantee the availability of funds
for late applications. Financial aid decisions will be sent
separate from admission decisions.
All applicants for Grades 9-12 must take the ERB at Stone
Ridge OR submit the
results of an ERB or SSAT that has been taken within
the previous six months. Applicants are encouraged to take
ERB at Stone Ridge, so they may be considered for the
Merit Awards. The November 17 test
date is specifically for incoming 9th Graders. Be sure to register (by submitting the Applicant Test Information Form) for an exam in
a timely fashion.
Arrange a student visit. Full-day visits are required as they allow us to
meet your daughter as well as give her the opportunity to experience
our community. Students
may visit from October through December without submitting an application.
After December, an application must be on file before a visit can be
scheduled. Visits can be arranged through the Admission Office after
September 4.
Parent meetings are optional, but encouraged, so that we
may learn more about your child and have the opportunity to
answer any questions you may have. Please call the Admission
Office to arrange an appointment.
Application files need to be complete by February 1 to be
considered in the first round of decisions.
Merit Awards
Six Merit Scholarships are given every year to
incoming Ninth Grade students. These scholarships are
monetary prizes applied to the recipients' tuition each
year, for the four years of high school. Families may apply
for financial assistance in addition to these scholarships.
All applicants who take the entrance exam at Stone Ridge
will automatically be considered for these awards. Finalists
will be notified with acceptance letters.
