Stone Ridge Community Highlighted by HGTV in "Rebuilding Together" Project
Upper School students and alumnae will join efforts in revitalizing and rehabilitating the Anacostia River region of Southeast DC. Volunteers will dedicate our time and skills to repairing various homes of the elderly along S Street SE, providing a safe playground and educational environment for the kids at the Bethel Christian Child Development Center, and cleaning up Anacostia Park in hopes of bringing a new sense of community to the city's riverfront.

Board Fifteen's Mistletoe Mania - Deck the
Halls and Help Raise Walls
event
Saturday, December 22, 2007 at local British Pub
Union Jack's was a huge success! The event
raised funds to rejuvenate the Rebuilding
Together Program at Stone Ridge. Local
well known comedian and graduate of St. John's
High School, Miguel Carrillo '91
emceed the evening. Alumnae from area
schools, fifteen years out were in attendance.
The Alumnae Association will partner with
Rebuilding Together, and HGTV's Change the World
revitalization effort to clean up Anacostia Park
in Washington, DC in late April.
