Manhattan Beach Reception

An enthusiastic crowd of Stone Ridge Alumnae greeted Sr. Anne Dyer, at the Manhattan Beach, California home of Mary Anne Burroughs Doms ’64 on the evening of January 25. Alumnae traveled from far and wide of the Los Angeles area to welcome Sr. Dyer to California as she began her Farewell Tour before she retires from her position as Headmistress in June 2006. Sr Dyer informed and enlightened those present with updates of the activities and news of the Bethesda campus. There were many questions about the present and future of Stone Ridge as well as fond remembrances of days past. Mary Anne and her husband Rusty provided a spectacular spread in their magnificent Manhattan Beach home and the evening ended far too quickly for all in attendance.
