San Francisco Reception

The historic Haas-Lilienthal House on
Franklin Street in San Francisco was the unique
and elegant setting for a reunion of local Stone
Ridge Alumnae on January 26. Julie Chase ’82
hosted a wonderful party that filled the house
with laughter, joy and shared memories. Alumnae
from all over the greater San Francisco area
arrived to be greeted by Julie, Sister Dyer and
many, many of their friends and classmates. Sr.
Dyer traveled to San Francisco as part of her
Farewell Tour as she prepares to retire from her
36 years at Stone Ridge in June of 2006. Sr.
Dyer caught people up to date on the happenings
at the Bethesda campus and answered many
questions about the present and future direction
of our beloved school, the whereabouts of
favorite teachers, and the new construction on
campus.Manhattan
