Application Process for
Families of Prospective Students New
families applying for financial aid need to complete an application
and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS
Grant and Aid Assessment by December 31. Application
materials for the 2007-08 school year will be available after
November 1, 2007.
Applicants can apply
online
or pick up a paper application from Sr. Geuting in the Business
Office. If you wish a paper copy to use as a draft only before
completing the application online,

However, this downloaded form cannot be processed by FACTS. If you
wish to file a paper application, you must pick up an official one
from the Stone Ridge Business Office.
The following information is required in order for FACTS to
process your application:
Due December 31:
- Online
application or signed and completed paper application.
(Online application preferred.)
- Payment of the $20 application fee to FACTS.
- Copy of your 2006 Federal Tax Return including all supporting
tax schedules. (Do not send copies of State Tax Returns.
- Copies of all 2006 W-2 Form(s) for both you and your spouse.
- Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income,
Child Support, Unemployment, Workers’ Compensation. If you have
Partnership Income or income from an Estate or Trust, call FACTS at
1-866-315-9262 to ascertain what additional documentation is
required.
Also required:
Each of these items should be forwarded to FACTS
as soon as it is available. Do not postpone sending the items
specified for December 31 above until these items are received.
- Copies of all 2007 W-2 Form(s) for both you and your spouse.
- Copy of your 2007 Federal Tax Return including all supporting
tax schedules.
Send all the above supporting documentation directly to FACTS
Grant and Aid Assessment rather than to Stone Ridge. FACTS mailing

Additional Information:
Barring unusual circumstances, such as late application to the
school, families applying for financial assistance must meet the
December 31st deadline. In general, awards are made on a first come,
first served basis. No application will be considered until all
requested items have been received. Families who miss the specified
deadlines jeopardize their chance of receiving aid and may be placed
on a waiting list.
Financial aid decisions are made independently of Admission
decisions. Letters concerning financial aid awards are mailed from
the Business Office shortly after acceptance letters.
All financial documentation is kept confidential and shredded
when no longer needed.
