Our Mission
The Center offers a caring, nurturing place for children of
Stone Ridge faculty and staff and the younger siblings of
current Stone Ridge students, as well as children of faculty
from surrounding private schools. The experienced staff of
trained professionals provides a warm, learning environment with
age-appropriate activities for the growth and enrichment of each
child.
Our Director
Angela Fisher is the director of the Sacred Heart Child Care
Center. A Kindergarten and Junior Kindergarten teacher at Stone
Ridge since 2000, Ms. Fisher became the Center’s director in
2005. Prior to coming to Stone
Ridge, Ms. Fisher taught in
a variety of early childhood
settings in the Washington,
D.C. metropolitan area, as
well as in New York City and
Southern California. Since the
early 1980s, Ms. Fisher has
taught and facilitated programs
serving infants, toddlers and
preschoolers in a wide variety
of settings including corporate,
private, and movie industry
studio child care centers.
