Securing the Future
A Stone Ridge education is a unique and precious treasure. The purpose of the endowment is to ensure the continuation of Stone Ridge, and the opportunity it offers for the students of today and tomorrow. The Religious of the Sacred Heart founded the school and have guided it and helped it grow. Now the greater community of Stone Ridge alumnae, parents, and friends must see to its future.

The school’s greatest need and its best hope for the future is an adequate, unrestricted endowment fund, invested and managed for growth. At Stone Ridge, the endowment funds nourish the quality of education, help moderate tuition increases, and secure the long-term financial viability of the school. No longer can Stone Ridge rely on tuition alone to meet its needs, nor can it depend upon sporadic, spontaneous gifts. The school must begin to rely on its endowment to provide that margin of excellence for our students.

Giving Opportunities
Opportunities to give are available at many levels including legacy, naming, and commemorative opportunities. Of particular need are endowed scholarships and endowed faculty positions.

Endowed Scholarships

The enrollment of talented and well-rounded students is a top priority of Stone Ridge.  Endowed scholarships enable deserving and talented students from a variety of backgrounds to attend Stone Ridge, and help moderate tuition increases for all students.  Established at a minimum commitment of $100,000, and range in value up to $400,000, endowed scholarships allow Stone Ridge to assist students who need it most.

Endowed Faculty Chairs

Inspiration and committed faculty members have been a hallmark of the Stone Ridge educational experience since the school’s founding in 1923.

Endowed chairs ensure Stone Ridge’s future by attracting and retaining the most outstanding teachers.  Chairs are established to honor and memorialize loved ones and favorite faculty members.  Endowed chairs may be established with a minimum commitment of $100,000, and range in value up to $1 million.  The proceeds from these funds help to underwrite salaries and professional development for their recipients.
