work on one or more committees
including: Arts, Decorations, Food, and
Publicity.

according to the committee chosen for
the Multicultural Festival.

Appreciation Day

This Parents Association-sponsored event is held
annually in appreciation of the Stone
Ridge faculty and staff. The committee
secures a caterer, sends out
invitations, and hosts the day.
Time commitment:
A
couple of meetings in January and help
the day of the event with decorating
tables, serving faculty and
staff, and cleaning up.

Post Prom
April 18, 2008 |
This exciting event is a
party for the Third and Fourth Academic
students only, immediately following the
Prom. Parents are asked to help with the
planning of games, food, and decorations
for the night. Also, help is needed to
solicit raffle items and door prizes.
Chaperones (no Third or Fourth Academic
parents) are needed from late evening
through early morning.
Time
commitment:
The committee starts
planning in January.

Spring Arts Festival

This event showcases
student artwork from each school. Prior
to the opening, the committee works to
mount, arrange, and hang the student's
artwork. A reception is held on the
opening evening of the show.
Time
commitment: Volunteers are needed daily
in early spring.

Planning begins in February for this
tournament. All proceeds from this event
benefit athletics at Stone Ridge.
Time
commitment: Available for meetings once
a month starting in February until the
event, and/or work the day of the event.

The Feast of St.
Madeleine Sophie Barat Congé

St. Madeleine Sophie
Barat was the founders of the Society of
the Sacred Heart. Each year, Stone Ridge
joins all Sacred Heart schools in the
United States in celebrating her feast
day with an all-school congé.
Time
commitment: Fifteen to twenty volunteers are needed
in the afternoon for approximately 1
1/2 to 2 hours.
