The Summer CampUs program reflects Stone Ridge School of the Sacred
Heart’s commitment to academic excellence, athletic competition, and
personal development. Our co-educational summer program is an
extension of an extraordinary educational experience known to
generations of Stone Ridge graduates.
Our experienced and caring staff strive to help
each camper enjoy fun, athletic, artistic, and educational
experiences while realizing personal growth, new
friendships, and wonderful memories.
CampUs Resources
Stone Ridge is located on thirty-five beautiful, wooded acres, home
to our art, science, sports, and day camp activities. Our campus boasts: three
air-conditioned gymnasiums; outdoor tennis courts; playing fields
for soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and softball; and a new, large,
fun-filled playground. Stone Ridge recently added a
competition-sized, covered, and heated swimming pool. Our indoor
facilities include state-of-the-art computer and science labs,
expansive art studios, a performance theater, and a cafeteria. All
of our campers will have use of air-conditioned classrooms, and the
Mini- and Mighty Gators will be in Stone Ridge’s fully-equipped
Lower School facility.
Stone Ridge Summer CampUs employs a full-time, registered nurse from
8:30 a.m. to 3:30
p.m.
Emergency Response Procedures are printed and posted in every
classroom, gym, and office. Regular fire drills are held during camp
to familiarize the children with our emergency procedures.
CampUs Director
Angela Evans Romano, an experienced educator and
administrator, is in her eleventh year as the Director of Summer CampUs. She has also served as Athletic Director and Varsity
Basketball Coach at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart.
