HOW TO APPLY: POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Deposits, Payments, and Refunds
Summer CampUs applications are accepted
online only; no paper applications will be accepted this
year. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable
and are applied to program costs. Each camper’s deposit is
$50 per two-week, half-day program; $50 per one-week,
full-day program; and $100 per two-week, full-day program.
The deposit is per program session and not a flat fee per
camper. There is a $25 fee for all returned checks. A final
bill is mailed in early April. Full payment must be received
by May 1, 2008 or a child’s place in camp is forfeited. If
you apply after May 1, full payment must accompany the
online application to reserve a space. If you have
questions, please call 301-657-4322, ext. 407 or e-mail
With online registration, credit cards are processed the
same business day. When applying online, the cardholder
authorizes Stone Ridge to apply charges directly to the
credit card provided. Summer CampUs will not have access to
any credit card numbers for future charges or to pay the
balance by May 1, 2008. To pay the balance due, parents can
access their accounts online or submit a check to the Summer
CampUs office.
Parents must inform the Summer CampUs office in writing
if they are withdrawing their child from any camp program. A
deposit is refunded only in the event that there is no
opening available in a selected program, or if a program is
cancelled. If registration is cancelled on or before May 1,
2008, program fees (less the deposit) will be refunded for
that particular program. If registration is cancelled after
May 1, all fees will be forfeited. There are no refunds for
absences.

Registration Tips
Campers in grades 2 - 8 should take a variety of classes over the summer.
Campers may come for the morning session or for a full day.
There is no “afternoon-only” or 12:30 p.m. drop-off option.
Campers must be enrolled in classes open to his/her age
group. For example, Grades 2-4 means your child must be
entering Second, Third or Fourth Grades in the fall of 2008.
Campers may not register for the same class more than once
per session. Certain projects/topics may be repeated during
subsequent sessions.
All Gator Grab Bag campers must choose two classes for the
morning and/or two classes for the afternoon. The afternoon
Gator Grab Bag Program must be combined with a morning
option (Sports Academy, Tennis Academy, Morning Gator Grab
Bag, or Academic Classes).
When registering online, you are prompted to select
classes; if a specific class is full, you are given the
option of joining a waiting list. Payments are not processed
if space is not available.
